Special Guest Artist: Doll Artist Dianna
Effner
Dianna has been designing and making dolls since the late
1970's. Her studio is located in Jamestown, Missouri, where Dianna
spends her days making dolls and teaching doll making and other
related crafts. Dianna is a doll person, through and through. She
has been playing with and designing dolls nearly all of her life. In
1999 she founded the Doll Dreamers Guild to raise the level
of artistic excellence through educational programs and workshop
training.
Dianna has designed a porcelain doll as our 2010 limited edition
Sauder Village Doll. This is limited to just 25. Watch here for
additional details and information on how to order this special
doll!
Dianna designed the award winning dolls from Maru and Friends®.
Made from the heart, these ethnic designer dolls encourage
friendship, understanding and tolerance among youth. Maru®
is the true story of a young immigrant girl, who comes to America in
search of a better life. Learn, discover and have fun with Maru and
Friends®. We will have many of Dianna’s Ashton Drake
dolls as well as a selection of her OOAK’s. She's looking forward to
meeting you and signing her dolls for you.
We are so excited to welcome Dianna to the 2010 Doll & Teddy Bear
Show & Sale at Sauder Village.
