Did you finish “Summer Song – My First Quilt” and are looking for your next project? My Second Quilt will use the “Field of Greens” pattern from the book Scrappy and Happy Quilts by Kate Henderson. Using a collection of fat quarter fabrics, you can choose any color to achieve the improvised feel of this structurally pieced pattern. Using rotary cutting techniques, you’ll construct big bold blocks and with the help of the Bloc Loc ruler you’ll learn to make and trim accurate half square triangles that you’ll assemble into flying geese. Join us for a fun and engaging class and create your very own dreamy “Field of Greens”.
