Fiber Arts Fest

Saturday, September 26, 2020   fiber-arts-fest 400x400

Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Have you ever wondered how a sheep’s wool is transformed into your favorite sweater or warm wooly mittens? Join us in the Historic Village to watch fiber artists demonstrate and share their love of fiber arts. Guests will be able to watch spinning, weaving, dyeing, skirting & carding wool demonstrations. There will be fiber exhibits, looms and spinning wheels on display.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be vendors at this year’s festival. However, we are committed to bringing you an engaging day all about fiber.

Sauder Village’s local artisans will demonstrate the steps to transform raw wool into yarn used to weave, knit and crochet. Join in the fun of a fiber themed scavenger hunt and trivia quiz!  Find us in the Festival Barn to start your fiber adventure.
