Sauder Village invites homeschool families from throughout the region to our 2021 Homeschool Days. Connect your children to local history, receive discounted home school rates, explore the spectacular 1920s Main Street, and watch unique demonstrations each day!
In addition to history-themed demonstrations, the education team has also put together a variety of science-themed activities! The STEM activities will vary by day and include:
Wednesday: “Blow Your Top” experiment
Thursday: Amazing eggs-periments
Friday: Milk science
Saturday: Engineering challenges.
There will also be special activities in the Nature Center including a special guest on Thursday, September 9 – Dru Wilson from Defiance County Soil & Water Conservation District. Dru will be bringing an interactive Virtual Watershed display. No pre-registration is required for Homeschool Days.
Homeschool Day Rates:
Students: $8
Chaperones/Parents: $12 (with ONE parent/teacher free)
