Saturday, September 17 is also the final day of our Apple Week event! Sauder Village will be highlighting this favorite fall fruit with special apple-themed recipes in our historic homes and hands-on apple activities for all ages to enjoy. Visitors will also want to stop by the Doughbox Bakery to take home some delicious apple treats! Activities planned for this week include:
- Apple-themed games and activities on the Village Green
- Help dry apples, roll out pie dough, make fruit peel and pack apples for the winter!
- Cider Pressing Demonstrations - watch as we press apples into cider
