High energy, creativity, and idea sharing! Don’t miss this unique experience to learn from two fantastic teachers from the quilt industry!
Schoolhouse will kick-off the morning with Christa Watson, home sewing machine guru, comes to northwest Ohio from Las Vegas, NV! She will teach us “What Makes This a Modern Quilt?” You won’t want to miss her 30-minute session starting at 9 a.m.!

Designer, product tester, quilter, crafter, Maria Degroot with Creative Grids USA will provide hands on classroom learning following Christa Watson’s morning presentation. Maria will bring her box of tools along with a trunk show of Pineapple Quilts, and a slide show of bloopers for this one of a kind day of learning.
Workstations will be set for 6 students per table where Maria will walk you through hands on testing of various Creative Grids rulers and tools. You’ll be able to try out the Alaska Ruler, Wonky Log Cabin, Spider Web, Pineapple Trim Tool, Strippy Stars, Scallop Template, Circle Savvy Ruler and more! Maria will share her insider secret techniques and tips for successful cutting and project making. She will share in-process and finished projects using the tools at the workstations.
