for Rug Hooking Week 2023

Group Exhibit at Rug Hooking Exhibition

Group Exhibits - contemporary collections representing groups of artists or guilds which have taken on projects with a common goal, parameters, and a deadline. The project might focus on a design, theme, color, technique, workshop or a challenge.

Classes: To accompany some of the Group Exhibits, we are offering a Workshop or Gallery Talk, for more information see our Workshop page.

If your group or guild would like to submit a Group Exhibit, please note:

  1. Your Group Exhibit Coordinator must submit a Group Exhibit - Application Form to rughooking@saudervillage.org by March 1stGroup Exhibits will be accepted on a first come basis, until our designated exhibit space is full.
  2. The RHW Director will contact the Coordinator with the status of their application. When confirmed, the Coordinator will receive an email and may forward it to the participants. This email will have information about the exhibit, exhibit registration, complimentary admission, etc. Group Exhibit pieces may not be registered until participants receive the confirmation email.
  3. Confirmed participants must register their pieces, per instructions found in their email by June 15th.

Group-exhibit-oriental-hooked-rugsCoordinators --- Please consider timing when submitting a Group Exhibit Application, keeping in mind that participants must commit to the Coordinator well before March 1st and have their pieces well underway by the June 15th exhibit registration deadline & completed for the exhibit. Based on the timeline, you may decide to postpone your group exhibit for a year to ensure your group will meet the deadlines. These guidelines & deadlines are crucial to planning the RHW exhibit & signage, and providing participants with important & timely information, plus ensuring they receive admission passes.
