Description:
Maria is known for her whimsical designs and projects. Over the years, she has combined techniques to develop some signature looks and finishes.

In this workshop, you will learn how to turn hooked motifs like snowmen, pumpkins, eagles and flags into wall art. Using wool for the motif and pennies, and cotton fabric for the background, Maria will teach you the basic techniques to turn these items into a fun wall hanging using a canvas board. She will also discuss finishing techniques for each of the projects.

Students will have the choice of the 6 projects to hook, photos only show pumpkin and snowman projects. Each piece will be worked in cuts # 7 – 9, and be unique depending on the wool, fabric backing and placement of the motifs. The finished wall art size are 10” x 20” or 12” x 16.”

Creating wall art can be so much FUN! Maria will bring some of her other projects to inspire you & you’ll rush right home to create more!
