Vendors & Exhibits… Open to the Public:   Wednesday - Saturday, August  14 - 17, 2024 --- 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Rug Hooking Week offers the most extensive and creative annual exhibit in North America. Exhibitors include novice to accomplished fiber artists, contemporary and historic work, U.S, Canadian & international exhibitors, and a wide variety of designs, techniques, fibers and topics. In addition to hooked and punched work, other fiber art exhibit categories include braiding, felting/needle felting, fusion, punch needle, wool applique, and more.  

Exhibitors --- Did you know that YOU can exhibit your work in the Main Exhibit? Plan now to register online for this year's exhibit! Pre-Registration is required. As a thank you, exhibitors receive complimentary admission to the Exhibit, Vendors, and historic Sauder Village. Pick up your admission pass during rug drop-off or at Founder’s Hall – Admission Desk.

Be inspired by the extensive exhibit, expand your knowledge & skills in diverse classes, shop for supplies & merchandise from unique vendors, meet up with new & old friends, and simply relax here in rural northwest Ohio. The Sauder Village campus makes it a short walk from Rug Hooking Week activities to historic Sauder Village. Rug hookers and fiber artists come back year after year from across the globe to participate in Rug Hooking Week!

Celebration Exhibit – Rug Hooking Magazine's annual exhibit of award-winning Celebration of Hand-Hooked Rugs --- exclusively at Sauder Village

Special Exhibits – inspiring & innovative textile art collections of original works by noted artisans 

Group Exhibits – Groups & Guilds share their challenges & projects.

Main Exhibit –  the work of contemporary artists from the U.S., Canada & around the world in various categories. 

Awards:

Sauder Award –The piece that best exemplifies the mission and spirit of historic Sauder Village; as well as represents outstanding artistry and quality of work. Each year one special recipient is awarded the Sauder Ribbon.

People’s Choice Awards – The public is invited to VOTE on their favorite pieces and the winners are awarded People's Choice Ribbons in the following categories:
