Is this your first time at Rug Hooking Week?
We are the largest annual rug hooking event in North America. Each year, thousands of artists and visitors gather in northwest Ohio to view our Exhibit.
- View 500 - 600 exhibit pieces - plus more than 250 pieces displayed by our vendors.
- Take classes (Retreats – 3 to 4 days & Workshops from Evening to 2 day) taught by outstanding teachers from around the country in a wide variety of topics, techniques, and skill levels.

Vendors
Vendors are carefully selected from across North America. They offer a wide variety of rug hooking and textile art supplies, equipment, and other creative goodies. Plan to shop & stock up!
Cancellation Policy
Student retreat and workshop registrations are NOT TRANSFERABLE. ALL cancellations and registrations must be administered by Sauder Village. Cancellations prior to June 28, 2024 will receive a refund of fees paid minus a 10% administrative fee. No refunds are given after June 28, 2024. Canceling students are responsible for any/all project costs they incurred with their instructor. If classes do not meet a minimum number of students by July 26, 2024, Sauder Village may be forced to cancel the class and all fees will be refunded.

For 45 years, Sauder Village has preserved the stories of the past and featured artisans of traditional American crafts, making Sauder Village an ideal venue for a week of rug hooking activity. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Sauder Village relies on support from admissions, retail sales, and donations to sustain the mission, as well as the attendance and involvement of our members and volunteers.
