The Rug Hooking Exhibit and Vendors are open to the general public. Registration is NOT required.  Retreats, Workshops and Gallery Talks require pre-registration.

Activities and Additional Schedule Information:

Buffet Luncheon – A pre-purchased, daily buffet conveniently located under the Great Oak Tree in the Heritage Inn from 12pm - 1pm. Enjoy something new each day, and don't miss our gourmet Special Spread Saturday!

Open Hook-Ins – Everyone is invited to our Open Hook-Ins on Thursday and Friday night! Enjoy working on your work-in-progress with fellow fiber artists in the cozy Heritage Inn. Join us under the Great Oak Tree or spread out by the fireplace in the Heritage Inn lobby. This event is FREE; no registration required! 

Private Preview – The Private Preview is an opportunity to see the exhibit and shop the vendors before it opens to the public. This event is open to all teachers and is included as an exclusive perk for Retreat Students as part of your package for the week. You must bring your retreat name badge for entry.

Opening Retreat Reception– NEW FOR 2025! Kick off your retreat week with a new, UPGRADED Opening Retreat Reception! Join us from 6pm - 8pm in Sauder Village's gorgeous 1920s Theatre and Speakeasy venue for after-dinner appetizers and drinks. Mix with your retreat classmates, catch up with old friends, and enjoy a special panel discussion. Your retreat package includes entry to the Opening Retreat Reception and one drink ticket. A cash bar and additional appetizers will be available for purchase.

Show & Tell – Show off your work-in-progress to fellow students at the Heritage Inn atrium on Thursday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm. Bring your rug to throw down!
