Summer on the Farm

Celebrate summer with fun adventures on the farm! Learn how we feed, groom and harness our horses, and join in some kid-friendly "horse races" with a prize for everyone who crosses the finish line! Kids can learn knot-tying skills, play old-fashioned games, and discover how Native Americans harvested corn and turned it into flour!

Rally For Women

Saturday, July 24   10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What better place to celebrate women’s right to vote than Sauder Village. Join us for a day of celebration as we present the performance of "Rally" - an outdoor reenactment of a 1920s era women's rally by the Glacity Theatre. Guests, actors, and league members will march up the new 1920s Main Street to the bandstand where the reenactment will take place. Guests will have an opportunity to make sashes, signs, and even participate in the march! In 2020, the United States marked the centennial of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which says that “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.” The 19th Amendment was a hard-won success of the U.S. women's suffrage movement.

The Broken Barrel Speakeasy After Hours

Thursdays, July 8, 15 & 22 from 5:30-7:30 pm

Enjoy an elevated bar menu of tantalizing Prohibition cocktails made with house-made syrups, juices, and fresh herbs grown right here at Sauder Village. Our Prohibition cocktails are concocted with the finest bourbon, vodka, gin, bitters, mixers that the 6 Prohibition distilleries have to offer. There will also be appetizers available for purchase! We have wonderful wines from around the world in our cellar and our beers on tap are Prohibition and craft beers.

Free event. Parking available at the 1920s Main Street Parking Lot. 21 years or older only.
