Consider planning your visit during our annual spring Quilt Show or in conjunction with a quilting class at Sauder Village! We’re sure quilters will also enjoy visiting with the many talented craftsmen working throughout the Village.
Quilters Itinerary: Day One
10 am–12:30 pm: Visit Historic Sauder Village. Start your visit by spending time at our Threads of Tradition Quilt Shop. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is always available to assist the quilt enthusiast in making selections from over 3,500 bolts of top-quality cotton fabric, which covers the full spectrum of reproductions, Woolies Flannel, baby and children’s fabrics, novelties, Stonehenge, contemporary, Cuddle, hand-dyed wool, and batiks. The Quilt Shop also carries a large and ever-changing variety of books, patterns, notions and gift items.
12:30–1:30 pm: Enjoy lunch at the Barn Restaurant or Village Café.
1:30–5 pm: Spend the afternoon enjoying the special exhibit (if you came on an event day) or take your time exploring the historic village! Be sure to visit all of the talented craftsmen at Sauder Village — potter, glassblower, cooper, tinsmith, woodworker, spinner, weaver, quilter, broom maker and basket maker.
