The instructor will provide all the tools needed to complete this project (wood, carving knife, safety glove, painting supplies). Ages 14 years or older. Adults welcome.
Class Fee: $79/$74 Sauder Village Member
Location: Carolyn Sauder Education Center
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: October 22, 12:00 pm
Instructor: Todd Martin
Todd began carving when he started to reflect on what he wanted to do when he retired. He bought a cheap set of knives and some bad wood and turned to YouTube. He was hooked. Since then, he has had the privilege of taking classes with some of the best caricature carvers in the nation, both in person and virtually. He has won local carving competitions, and most recently was presented with an Award of Excellence at the Sauder Village Woodcarver’s Show. His projects have been included in Woodcarving Illustrated and Chip Chats – the publication of the National Wood Carving Association.
