Spinning Demonstration

Join us for Fiber Arts Fest at Sauder Village!

Artisans from throughout the region will gather at Sauder Village's Founder's Hall to demonstrate and share their love of fiber arts. Guests will be able to watch spinning, weaving, knitting, rug hooking, crocheting and tatting demonstrations. There will be fiber exhibits, looms and spinning wheels on display, hands-on activities and dyeing demonstrations. Select vendors will also be selling handmade items and fiber art supplies. A variety of fiber-related activities for children to try including carding wool, spinning, weaving, making felt balls, making yarn dolls and working with sewing cards.

Bring your knitting needles, spinning wheels, looms, and work on your projects to your heart’s content! This is a great opportunity to meet with fiber arts enthusiasts from around the region.

    Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • Admission:

  • Single Day Ticket into the Fiber Arts Fest and entire Historic Village... Adults - $18.00, Students (6-16) - $12.00 (Senior, Military and AAA discounts apply)

  • There is a "Show Only" admission of $8.00 which must be purchased in Founder's Hall.


  • Group rates:

    Bringing a group of 20 or more? Special group rates and arrangements are available by calling our Group Sales Department at 800.590.9755.
