General Information about Retreat, Workshop and Gallery Talk Registration
Because the retreats can fill quickly, you have the option to select your top three retreat preferences. You will be placed in your preferred retreat based on availability.
If a retreat or workshop of your choice is labeled “sold out,” you may still select the class to be placed on a waiting list. Your credit card will not be charged. You will be notified when space becomes available.
In addition to registering online, you may also register by phone, mail, email or fax.

Registration Confirmation
An auto-generated email will then be sent from rughooking@saudervillage.org to you after receipt of your class registration and payment. A confirmation email will be sent from Deb Ridgway within 2 business days. It will include your Booking ID and Confirmation numbers to secure a room at the Sauder Heritage Inn or Campground space. You will need the IDs to be placed on the wait list for the Inn. Please save both emails for furture reference.
Lodging
The Sauder Heritage Inn has reserved guest rooms and the Sauder Village Campground have campsites for confirmed Rug Hooking Retreat and Workshop participants. Once you have your confirmation email (described above), you may contact the Sauder Heritage Inn about the availability of a room or campsite. Please make reservations as soon as possible; rooms fill quickly. If the Inn is SOLD OUT, we highly recommend you ask to be added to the wait list. Rooms often become available in late July and early August.
Discounted Retreat & Workshop Rates Available to Sauder Village Members
Sauder Village Members receive a special discounted rate for retreats or workshops. If you are not a Sauder Village Member and would like to learn more about membership, follow this link: Sauder Village Membership
Cancellations
• Student retreat, workshop, gallery talk and lunch reservations are NOT TRANSFERABLE.
• All registrations must be processed by Sauder Village.
• You must contact Deb Ridgway, Special Events Coordinator, Sauder Village, of any cancellations.
• Cancellations prior to June 30, 2023 will receive a refund of fees paid minus a 10% administrative fee.
• No refunds are given after June 30, 2023.
• If classes do not meet a minimum number of students by July 31, 2023, Sauder Village may be forced to cancel the class and all fees will be refunded.
Tips
1) Make sure that the correct membership status is chosen to see the correct price on the form.
2) Please make sure to use your accurate name that matches your credit card in the payment section when registering.
