Important Information and Frequently Asked Questions About Visiting Sauder Village

Know Before You Go

Sauder Village will be open for the 1920s Holidays on Main Street event November 28, December 5 and 12 from 6:00–9:00 pm.  Our guests, employees, and volunteers are what make Sauder Village the extraordinary place it is, and their well-being is a top priority. Sauder Village is working with the local health department and following state guidelines for social distancing, face coverings, and sanitation to allow for a pleasant guest experience.

Ohio counties are currently under a mandatory mask order while out in public.  For the safety of our staff & guests, we require face coverings to be worn at the Historic Village while entering any historic building or indoor venue (face coverings are required while walking outdoors when social distancing is not possible). Exceptions will be made for those with health and safety considerations and children under 10 years old.

Masks are also required in indoor locations at the Barn Restaurant, Doughbox Bakery and Sauder Heritage Inn.

The following people do not need to wear a mask:
Those with a medical condition or a disability or those communicating with someone with a disability
Those who are actively eating or drinking
