Before the days of large super stores, there was the General Store. Villagers could buy everything from food to fabric, pick up their mail, purchase gifts and even catch up on the news of the community, all in one stop. In our General Store, you can shop for a wide selection of gifts, treats and treasures from collectible dolls, tins and hard-to-find kitchen items to "penny" candy and caramel corn and rabbit furs and more!

2019 Hours:
April 16 – May 1: Monday–Saturday 10 am–5 pm
May 1 - October:
Monday–Saturday 10 am–5 pm; Sunday noon–4 pm
November–December: Monday–Saturday, 10 am–5 pm
January–late March: Closed.  Please ask in the Gift Shop if you need something from General Store.

Take home some favorite candies including old-fashioned hard candy from the barrels, Jelly Bellys, rock candy, licorice buttons, Mary Janes and Blackjack Taffy.

The doll case holds a wide variety of collectible dolls including dolls by Robert Tonner, Hildegard Gunzel, Beverly Stoehr, Marie Osmond, Kish, Berenguer, Ginny’s and Ashton Drake.

Bushels of Kids Toys
Children (and the young at heart) will enjoy browsing through our selection of toys including everything from marbles, pull-back cars and trucks to harmonicas and kazoos.

Books
From cookbooks and old-fashioned paper dolls to American Girl books and McGuffey readers, our selection of books is quite unique.

Kitchen Items
Our extensive kitchen selection includes tin cookie cutters, woodenware utensils, enamelware and kitchen tins as well as novelty cookie jars and salt & pepper shakers.

Lamps
Choose from a large selection of electric and oil lamps, Tiffany-style table lamps, and flicker and novelty lightbulbs.

Christmas
