Description
Students will create a sampler using Creative Stitches, which are an adaptation of needlepoint and crewel stitches. In class, students will learn how to hook the creative stitches and discuss how to use them in other rug hooking projects. These stitches add interest to your hooked pieces by using one motif or in the background. Students can make a small quilt coaster, build houses or add birds and fruit to their class project. Once they learn the stitches their creative mind will find many ways to use the Creative Stitches in their rug hooking.
