Special & Add On Programs
Make a lasting and impactful experience for your students with special programs and add-ons tailored to their interests. From guided tours to hands-on workshops, our programs provide additional ways to engage with history and culture — either at Sauder Village or right in your classroom. Special Program Costs
At Sauder Village: $75 per group (up to 25 students) with a discounted rate of $1 per additional student beyond 25. Note: This fee is in addition to Historic Village admission. In your classroom: Approximately 45 minutes long for a cost of $100 plus mileage.

Interested in bringing your students to Sauder Village? Please read the important information below:
Making Reservations:
Advance reservations are required for all group tours and special programs. There are 2 steps to make a reservation & payment for a field trip – both need to be completed to make a full reservation for your school or group field trips:
Step 1) A Reservation Request can be made by online submission or with a verbal request at 800.590.9755 or 419.446.2541 ask for the education department. Use this form to help with the registration process.
Step 2) Complete a Payment form – required for all school or group field trips.
We recommend field trips be scheduled at least two weeks prior to the requested field trip date.
To receive discounted rates, you must pay with a single form of payment. Anyone who pays individually at the Visitor Services Desk will be charged full admission. Please bring your completed Payment form with you upon arrival.
Preschool pricing is open to preschool groups who book in advance and plan on spending two hours or less at the Village.
Please distribute the Chaperone and Teacher Field Trip Tips to all chaperones prior to your visit.
Please give the Bus Loop Map to your bus driver.
Homeschool Experiences
Make a trip to Sauder Village part of your homeschool curriculum. With hands-on activities and self-guided interactions with our living history village, we are a great way to meet the learning needs of all the children in your family. Attend one of our selected Homeschool Days and receive reduced admission for your family, or partner with your homeschool co-op and bring 20 or more to receive a group discount any day.
