Description
Students will learn how to use a grid with a photo to enlarge an image and draw it on paper. Then using their own 8” x 10” photo, they will use the process to draw a pattern using the grid and transfer to a linen backing.

Skill level: Intermediate
Supply fee: $35 payable to the instructor at the beginning of class. Fee includes reusable grid drawing kit, pencil, marker, paper, linen backing, and written instruction sheet.
Student supplies: Bring a clear 8” x 10” photo of something they would like to make into a rug pattern.

Donna Hrkman:
Donna Hrkman is a fine art rug hooker and designer. She has written three books, numerous articles for Rug Hooking Magazine, won awards at Sauder Village’s Rug Hooking Week, and is an 18 time finalist in Celebration. She has been teaching for 18 years.
