Learn how three rug hooking artists incorporate non-traditional, recycled, and repurposed materials into contemporary hooked rugs. Domenica Queen, Charlie Dalton, and Laura Salamy will each share slides and talk about the methods and materials used in their work along with their design influences. West Virginia, fiber artist, Susan Feller will moderate the panel. There will be time for audience questions. Join us for a lively & inspiring discussion!

Susan Feller, Moderator:
Susan Feller enjoys experimenting with different media. She is the author of Design Basics for Rug Hookers, works from her studio in West Virginia, has art in museum and private collections and advocates for the artists of Appalachia. She has taught, vended and exhibited at Sauder Village for more than twenty years and curates fiber art exhibits regionally. Her website is SusanFeller.com
