Description
Students will design their very own hooked weekend-sized carpetbag. This workshop will help students design a motif for their bag using Susan’s base pattern, transfer the design to linen, color plan, and hook it. Students will customize their designs by incorporating alternative fibers, lettering, and accessories. The workshop includes bag assembly from lining to putting in the zipper to adding handles and feet. Finished bag is 18” long x 12” high x 9” deep at the base.
The instructor will contact students in advance of class and include a 2-hour Zoom class to prepare students for designing their carpetbag.
