Current Efforts

Your support of the mission to honor the past and inspire the future makes an important difference. Thank you for your generosity in contributing to the following efforts:

  • Experience Fund: Your gifts to the Sauder Village Experience Fund can make a meaningful impact to help preserve and share our rich heritage that would otherwise be lost forever. Thanks to your generous support, we are able to keep historic interpreters, craftspeople and farmers in place to make the stories and activities of our heritage come alive, while providing family fun with a purpose. • Student Education Fund: Sauder Village serves as an educational “learning lab” that offers experiences that simply can’t be duplicated in textbooks.  Due to budgetary constraints, many underserved students miss the opportunity to get beyond the classroom walls, even with special discounted school group admission rates. Thanks to the generosity of a family who believes that visits to Sauder Village shouldn’t be a privilege, but something that all kids get to experience, the new Student Education Fund was created.  You can also contribute to this special fund to help underwrite field trips and special programs that may otherwise not be possible.
  • Farm Friends: With your support, our Farm Friends will provide fun, educational experiences not typically available to most people. Help keep the farm with its variety of farm animals a thriving part of the Sauder Village Experience.
  • Golf Outing: The Golf Outing proceeds benefit educational programming, including the Youth Volunteer program at Sauder Village. Participate or become a sponsor of the annual Tee it Up for Education Golf Tournament that is traditionally held the first Saturday in June.
