Sauder Village Selects Todd D. Norris as CEO
Archbold, OH — Sauder Village announces that Todd D. Norris has been selected as its new Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Andy Brodbeck, a 48-year veteran of Sauder Village who stepped in as Interim President/CEO in April 2024.
Norris brings two decades of leadership experience to Sauder Village, most recently serving as Artistic Director of Education at Virginia Repertory Theatre in Richmond, Virginia. Norris is looking forward to enhancing visitor experiences and growing donor support at Sauder Village.
“For 50 years, Sauder Village has grown and evolved into a unique gem of a living history destination, and what excites me most is not only to help tell its stories to current audiences, but also to help it reach new audiences so it will be well-positioned to thrive for the next 50 years and beyond,” said Norris.
The Board of Trustees’ Search Committee cited Norris’s enthusiasm and vision for Sauder Village as a major asset as the organization nears its 50th anniversary in 2026. Norris will lead the entire Sauder Village complex, including the Heritage Inn, Barn Restaurant, Doughbox Bakery, Sauder Village Campground and Historic Sauder Village, promoting growth and sustainability for Sauder Village as a whole.
“The Search Committee was struck by Todd’s passion for nonprofit work and the excitement he has for Sauder Village, its history and its mission,” said Dan Sauder, Chairman of the Sauder Village Board of Trustees. Todd brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the job. We are pleased to welcome him to Sauder Village and look forward to his leadership as we enter our next 50 years.”
Norris holds an MFA from the University of Louisville. In addition to his work at Virginia Repertory Theatre, Norris previously held leadership positions at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
